Any standout products for sealing exhaust crossover slip joint?

The clamp seals it. No sauce required. As far as i know.

If the slip joint tubing is distorted, and you feel it will leak, some Red RTV (Hi temp) can be used as a good exhaust pipe sealant.

I use it on all the exhaust slip joint junctions, since it allows less clamp pressure be applied, and easier disassembly when required.

Just make sure to allow sufficient time for it to cure (24 hours will do it).

When separating a joint that has had the RTV applied, a twisting motion will break the bond (after the clamp has been removed)...

My memory is that there are clamps where the cross over pipe joins each of the exhaust pipes but no clamp where the two halves of the cross over pipe join. Check the AIM to confirm this.

In any event, no sealer is needed.

However, if you think there might be a reason you'd ever want to remove the cross over pipe, you could coat the joints with anti-seize prior to assembly.
