I went to the Bloomington gold show yesterday, what a sad show, I felt like I was at a funeral, local car shows have more going on, unless it moves to a bigger market like Chicago than its doomed, it not even worth crossing the street to see.
I heard the 70 and especialy 71 ZR-1 display was nice. But no FOR SALE cars, and maybe 40 individual vendors. Nice facility. I will wait for MONDAY REVIWS.
MIKE ERNST, Corvette expert just reported
''The special collection at Bloomington Gold this weekend is 1971 LS6 cars. The most ever gathered together in one place. If you’re there, stop by and say “hi”. I will be in the area of the Steel Cities gray convertible, and on Saturday will have the original owner of the car there with me. He hasn’t seen it since he sold it in 1978.''

It's a great show, with a lot of beautiful Corvettes. If anything hurts the shows, it's people not showing up. You gotta show up. About the same amount of vendors as last year but covid has hurt the vendors everywhere. Its a great facility for cars and people. It's dry and cool inside. Only thing I would change, is to bring all the vendors inside. There's plenty of room in the stadium. It rained a little yesterday and last night, which forced some vendors to pack up. Any Corvette show is a good show!
