The electrical schematic would be the same regardless of the sbc installed unless the ignition system is not factory.

I have a wiring diagram. I'm looking for a complete engine diagram because I'm about to tear the whole thing down.

It’s just a common SBC. just about every SBC from 1955 to current is the same in side. There is nothing special about it all. And the there is thousands of aftermarket parts to build your 350 to any power range you want for any budget.

Please go on line to YouTube and search for "How to rebuild a SB Chevy" or "How to tear down a SB Chevy" the list goes on. If you want more in print, then there are several books available. Look for the name David Visard, he has written some very informative ones. Dennis

Given the reasonable fact that the OP is a novice on the subject, having visual and audible guidance makes his task much easier than reading tech info, and trying to understand it at the same time. Also, the GM manual references tools that are foreign to many of us seasoned shade tree mechanics. Dennis

Youtube really is a valuable resource for automotive projects. I've found a video for almost every job on every car I've looked for.

yes it is. All the little problems I had with my daily drivers I have found a video on there to show me what to do.

but to have the factory service manual and overhaul manual is a very good start as well. After all it was written by the same people who designed the car and engines.
