I am guessing these are Hooker brand. What other brand was making them for mid year years? Second the chrome is a little rough but other wise in good shape Are they worth anything?
Yes they are. We run them on the race cars although currently I have a set of Stahl's. New they are $1K last time I looked but nobody would chrome them again. Powder coat is what we use and the price have gone up a lot recently for that plus they have to sandblast the chrome off. Maybe $500 for this work. They also have been modified in a few places and the side mounts are not in their original locations. You decide what to ask but If they were close to me I would pay $250 or 300 for them. I have 2 sets of Stahl's though so I do not need them. Good luck. They will look similar to this powder coated.
Keith,
Steve (C2 Racer) is spot on with his comments and price estimates. I've had several sets of Hooker headers and the demand was minimal. With that said, I suggest you "purchase wisely".
Damn Keith...you and your Dad have barely finished your latest project ('65 L76) and y'all are starting on another '67? Fill us in on the newest toy. Very nice!!!

it’s a car dad found 25 years ago and told the owner if he wanted to sell Well they came to a price It’s a L79 AC car. Maroon over black. It has a CE block in it and came with a correct HT stamped 67 block from a car built about a month before. With no original engine. Everything else is there
we removed the gas tank yesterday to find this gem
it’s been off the road since the 70s or 80’s. It’s showing 49k miles. But it had a rough life. But there is a lot of good in the car. I am hoping we don’t pull the body.

Richard does find all the cars, good job you guys.
Keith, other brand at the time was KUSTOM
Indeed, and the Kustom headers are / were at one time the "holy grail" of headers / sidepipes. There is only a very slight difference in the routing of the primary tubes. I've had several sets of Kustom headers and they brought more $$$ than the Hookers.
Nice project Keith. I know you and your dad will turn out another beauty.

the very odd part is they put the headers on the car but left rally wheels on the car. I mean who adds side mount headers and not a alloy wheel of some sort.
