Mid Year pricing guide?

I don't post in this section often, but thought I could find some help here.
I am in the market for a mid-year vette and am looking for a guide/source as to what I can expect to pay for one.
I am looking for '65-67 roadster or coupe NOM car that I can drive and enjoy.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards and Happy Holidays

I recently purchased my first midyear. The best advice I can give is to take a look around and get a feel for what kind of car and condition for different $$ ranges.
I used EBAY every day to check completed auctions where the reserve price was met and a valid deal was to be completed. I actually got the car through an advertisement in collectorcartraderonline.com
There are SO many variables to consider the best thing to do is get out ther and look to figuyre where you are willing to sacrifice variables for $$$
There are also several "buyer's guides" out there - check out the NCRS book store.

Figure the dealers have to make a few thousand profit and they buy from private selles.....so can you.
Good Luck!
Fast Forward to 2001 and well equipped with half a dozen books and buying guides I went looking for another midyear. Trouble is even in a city of 200,000 people there weren't any for sale locally. I ended up traveling all over hell looking at corvettes. My advice would be to find out where your local/regional corvette club meets and go to a meeting. If there are some midyear owners there they will be glad to show you their cars. Armed with some decent corvette books you'll be able to tell what belongs where and what doesn't. A trip to a body shop that specializes in corvette repair wouldn't hurt either. You might get them to show you how to detect repaired or replaced clips or panels. As for value vs. actual price? You are going to be the judge. I think most of the prices in the price guide are higher than what similar cars actually sell for. Just my .02

Thanks for your replies, I'll find my mid-year soon!
This forum is great place.

Good luck on your search!
I bought my 66 thru Hemmings and could'nt be happier. But in the past I bought a british car that way and was less than impressed.
Good luck , Bruce
