There are differences in the construction of different 5-1/2" wheels. My suggestion is to purchase the judging guide for your car from the NCRS, and it will tell you what is correct and what is not.

I believe the 62 came with 5" wide standard and 5.5" as an optional wheel. It could have been either one. If you post some pictures you will likely get more input from others with more expertise.
