My clock in my 65 corvette stingray convertible broke today. It was a quartz replacement that was already installed during the restoration a few years before I bought the car six years ago. The second hand and minute hands are working but the hour hand is not. I can no longer adjust the time either.
Replacements are only @ 300 dollars. Does anyone have a recommendation on which one is best? I see the are sold from multiple vendors including Ecklers and Zip.
Like Greg mentioned, the Instrument Services Kits for Borg Clocks work well. I've installed about '6' of them over the years, even way back when they were only $30 a pop, and never had a problem but like anything these days, some times
things just don't last. The kits take a bit of time to install, mostly just being careful during disassembly and assembly and getting that little 'clutch' thingy to move freely, but in the end, they work fine. One thing to also mention, these kits typically have a smooth second hand movement unlike the original move-stop-move again setup of the original mechanisms.

Thanks for the comments. I have a scheduled appointment with my local Corvette mechanic for an unrelated problem regarding an oil leak tomorrow. I will have him take a look at the clock and see what he thinks.
