Default PCV question

67 L79 327/350. What is the correct PCV. Until I read a thread below, I wasn't even aware it had one. I since have found it does and mine plugs into the oil fill tube. I couldn't find which one though.

TIA, Joe

My 1967 small block car (327/350 HP) uses AC CV 726C.

Paragon sold service replacements with this correct number on them. They look almost as original. Ebay is another source.

Zip ( also LICS stock that they acquired) and Corvette Central and Keen and others may also have them. NAPA likely has a generic replacement.

Ebay: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...+726c&_sacat=0

Paragon: PR 1770

Zip: M-2442

Why do you think you need a new one? Have you removed the one you have, shaken it to see if it rattles? If it doesn't rattle, spray some carburetor cleaner in it, shake it out...repeat several times. These things, in my experience, don't go bad...they just need a little maintenance.

When I was a kid PCV valves were routinely replaced at tune-ups and most rattled as they hit the bottom of the trash can. Shops marked them up, wholesalers and mfg made lotsa money and auto owners seemed happy to oblige. Today its $75 cabin filters. They say you will die without one and your car will die with a generic one for $19.

LMAO.......I have a 2009 HUMMER H2... I guess I'll be gagging soon... The 2009 H2 was never equipped with a Cabin Filter. 10 years and still waiting to be asphyxiated.
