Default 1966 Alternator Date Code Question.

Would just like a brief answer as to what the best date code alternator should be used.

I have a 66 427 (L72). Completely stock. The only variance is the Alternator and Distributor are for the 427/390hp motor. The car runs absolutely perfect
and I was told that back in the day that TI systems were a pain so many drivers just switched over to the easier to maintain 390 components.

My block is stamped 03/18 and all engine and most other pieces and parts are dated during March 1966. This Vette is a driver and not a Trailer Queen
so if I get caught in the rain I do not go into shock. I enjoy my car to drive and not wax all weekend. Could care less about any type of judging or matching yellow wires
or screw designs etc.
Recently to make the issue right I purchased the correct TI Distributor but have not bought the alternator yet (1100696 42 amp).

I now have the chance to pick up the correct Alternator. I have no intention of installing the Distributor or Alternator but should the Vette ever be sold I would like to
have it available. Also these items are starting to get scarce and expensive.

I have three (3) choices to select from. One Alternator is dated 2/28/66, one is 03/29/66 and the last is 03/31/66. All are rebuilt.

Again, my Block date is 03/18/66.

In your opinion which dated Alternator should I select. I know about the six (6) month rule but again my car is just a very nice driver.
I have heard the Alternator date should be 2-3 weeks before the build date and other opinions that it should be a little after the build date.

Appreciate any input on which would be the date code
