Similar to other LED lights, There are two different tints to the bulbs. Warm tint and a cool tint. My photo has the warm tint. Some of the others may have the cool tint. Both look good, but the warm is closer to the stock look and a bit less intense.
I did mine in my 65 and little to no difference.
I think my rheostat in my headlight switch is weak.
I should have seen results like the above posts.
Anybody else have dissatisfaction with them.

which bulbs did you use. They should’ve lit your dash up
I also have them on all instrument panel lights and clock and radio. I can actually read the dials at night now. I got them on eBay by seeking LED dash lights. Several places popped up and I had the bulb number of the instrument lights and there was a match on one site. I bought twenty for about $40.
I put them in the turn signal indicators only in my C1 mainly because I couldn't see the indicator on a sunny day with the top down. The LEDs solved that problem. The rest of the dash is bright enough (maybe too much so) for driving at night.
I used the Super brights a replacement for the orig 1816 bulbs. They all work and do not dim but as you turn the dimmer there are a few spots they go out and relight as you turn the **** back and forth. Leads me to believe the dimmer portion of the head light switch maybe on the way out.

No, that is the nature of LEDs. After a certain voltage drop they shut off.
I have the original bulbs in the clock which dims and seem about as bright as my Superbrights in my dash gauges.
I don’t think it’s a ground issue.
I have an NOS switch to swap out and see if it changes the brightness
