Default Steering Question

Had some time to get back to the jigsaw puzzle.
Assembling the steering relay rod and connecting the ball stud to the pitman arm and the taper doesn't seem correct as it is not seating as far into the pitman arm as I believe it should.
I have a new pitman arm from Corvette Pacifica and it has the part#3829451 which according to their catalogue is correct for a 67 non power steering car. According to the NCRS 67 guide it should be #3829452
Question? Is there a difference between the two? Any one else have this problem or am I just the lucky one!

I don't recall seeing a 452 arm. 451 were manual arms, 383 were power.
