There was a topic a couple weeks ago about timing lights, and which ones were prefered or used by many on this board. This resulted in a timing light being added to my christmas wish list.
I would like to know what forum members are using for a leakdown tester. I have found several brands on different websites, as well as plans to make your own.
So, what do you use everybody. This will give me an item for my birthday wish list which is in Mid January.
I use the Sun brand. After using high Nitro loads, we check the cylinders after every race to locate problems if they exist so we know where to concentrate the repairs if necessary. If it leaks in the high 90`s, and all the plugs look good, The engine is still in good shape for the next round. A very important racing tool.  :D
I have always been a fan of the dual gauge leak down testers but recently I tried a Childs & Albert single gauge tester. I actually like this single gauge tester better. This particular one has a very large dial and is extremely easy to read.
There are still many uses for a dual gauge tester but from now on when it comes to engine leakdowns I will be using the single gauge style.
