The rear one ?
Yes - take a dremel and knock down the welds on the side of the nut and the top
Use an impact
They come right apart
I do it all the time to replace a worn pin
Then replace the nut with a new one and use thread locker

I think we're talking about two different parts. I'm looking for info on how to remove the pin in the left and right hood hinges (that are bolted to the side of the radiator support)
It's a bradded pin. Once you get it out then what? It's not really a serviceable part. To get it out either drill or grind the end off and knock it out. If you are doing so because it's worn the best plan is to just replace the hinges. If you are reengineering it you probably wouldn't be asking how to disassemble it.
I'm asking for my 1961 Corvette. The original hinges are loose. I purchased a rebuild kit from Paragon. Just can't figure out how to remove the old hinge pin.
Once you drill or grind the rivet and remove it then you'll get to see the issue. Not only was the rivet worn but the hole in the hinge will be worn as well and a new rivet isn't going to fix that. If you want a good tight hinge buy new ones.
Thanks...I'll give it a try. At first glance it looks like the looseness in the hinge is due to a flattening of the spring. I'm hoping that the Paragon rebuild kit will fix the problem. I haven't been able to find an aftermarket hinge that is NCRS correct...thus the reason for me wanting to fix the original pair.
