Default 1966 L72 Spark Plug Question

Hi. If I use an AC 43,44 or 45 XLS plug should I be concerned about the extended tip on them not having enough clearance? Or should I just go with an XL? Thank you, Tom.

The XLS extended tip plugs will work perfectly.

I'd offer that you should make sure that your installed heads are what an L72 came with. If they were changed out to something different then extended tip may cause clearance issues. If changed it could also affect whether you install tapered seat or gasketed seat plugs.

Thanks 67:72. I have stock heads and I have seen some posts about guys that were concerned about using the extended tips, so it started me thinking... So I guess I can use either the xls's or the xl's. Thanks again.. Tom.
