Ok,
I know they only made 599 total BB automatic cars, that makes them unusual, but I never see them around or for sale, is that because they are just great to own? The few I have seen are always loaded option cars. Back in the day a buddy of mine had a 67’ Vert with the L36 and M35, no other options. Was his car the fluke?
Just curious,
Chris
Dads 67 L36 auto is AC with a radio, PS, tinted glass and a posi. No other options. The numbers play a role why you don’t see them for sale very often. They are a fun car to drive for sure.
Not a fluke, just more of a cruiser set up (so they typically also had more comfort/luxury options), versus a performance set up, and most vette buyers were more 4 speed/performance oriented. But they’re really nice cars (the milder hydraulic big blocks with an automatic).
