So, we’re cleaning out my fathers garage and I ran across these valve covers,. Can anybody identify them and what they went to? I know he had a couple of older Chevys, a mid 60s Chevy II, and a 65 Corvette.

250 & 300 h.p. Corvette engines had those valve covers. You had to step up to at least a 350 h.p. to get the aluminum covers.
Passenger cars with the 250 & 300 h.p. engines also used those painted covers.
Check the part number on the boxes. Good chance that Dad upgrade his engine to the aluminum covers and put his originals in the boxes.
the part number on the boxes, 3772669, is the part number for the late 59-67 Corvette finned aluminum valve covers. As 68hemi said, at some point your father likely replaced the painted covers on one of his cars, with a set of Corvette finned covers, a very popular upgrade to small block Chevys.
Hmmm. I always thought his 65 Corvette was a 327/350 but I could be wrong. Maybe after upgrades if these were taken off the Corvette. I know he did a lot of work on it.
We have the better part of an entire 283 engine from that period, but I don't think they're from the Corvette. Maybe his Chevy or Chevy II.
I am probably wrong, but the 327 emblems appear to be thin aluminum rather that vinyl decals. If they are, I believe they are prior to 1966 or maybe even 1965, but still could be any Chevy model 300 hp 327.
62 and early 63 327's used covers that are almost identical, but the shape of the triangle, that forms the transition from the 327 label rectangle to the "V" on the top of the cover, is slightly different. I hope that makes sense.

62 and early 63's used an embossed aluminum 327 label on top of the cover, with the 3-2-7 raised. Late 63 through around January 66 had a flat foil "crack and peel" 327 label. All 62 to 66 valve covers used water soluble decals for the horse power rating on the side of the covers. After January 66 a water soluble decal, that included both 327 cu in and 300 hp on a single decal, replaced the foil 327 label on the top of the covers and the 300 hp decal on the side of the covers.
