I am going to start a video thread on getting this car sorted. Some people may have read my prior thread on the acquisition, but here is the short summary:
1963 FI coupe, very nice and original car that has its born-with engine. I like all my cars to run better than new, and I am an incessant tinkerer. I don't know much about Rochester FI, but should be reasonably expert by the time this is done. It seems a lot of the people who know FI are hanging-up their tools, and I am fortunate to be able to work with Ken Hansen and Don Baker on getting this one squared-away.
A few pics to start, and a very long video where I talk the whole time. I will update as we make progress!
Any chance you could do me a solid. I have the same car but the convertible, how high is the front fender well from the ground? Mine is sitting substantially higher. Car looks beautiful btw!

I can do that, but it's going to be a few days because it's off the ground at the moment while I am working on the chassis.
I think it is sitting too high in the rear, but the spring is fresh and I believe it will settle a bit. I think the front ride height is correct.

Great looking SWC fuelie Nick Hard to beat that color. It has just the right amount of patina. I like your plan of sorting it mechanically and leaving the patina. Looking forward to your progress. Have fun tinkering.
I had a nice 1964 Porsche 356C basically fall in my lap yesterday, so I might be going at an even-slower pace on the Corvette. But it will be sorted out by spring, for sure.

Well, this is gonna be fun! Great job on your video; but I disagree with you, Nick! Despite your warnings, I personally think you come across quite well on youtube! Looking fwd to your future vids! Thanks!

-Made new plug wires
-Tuned distribtuor
-In process of replacing the battery tray

Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
