Default Dash Insert Question

I am looking at a replacement dash insert assy for my 1960 Corvette. The used one I am looking at fails to have these two weld nuts located in the insert support. Was this a design change at some point and are the two interchangeable?

IIRC, there should be three studs in back, not threaded holes.

But, for those that don't know the trick of pulling the dash insert into a new pad using the studs, the threaded holes may be easier, just don't go too long on the bolts, and dimple the aluminum facia piece.

Definitely not all have the weld nuts. Really not needed.
