Default 63-67 Mirror ? (date code & origin) help please

I have what appears to be a service replacement mirror for 63-67 application (offset swivel location)
This is a plain back ( ~ 4 3/4" OD) - non bow-tie mirror without any Guide or Y-50 markings.
Mounting stanchion / arrm with cstg # 3839611 - no PR for Paragon
This has the thin metal retaining ring.
Code is 2-DMI-3
This mirror was with a bunch of NOS Corvette parts and a receipt dated 1977
Can anyone shed some light on the origin of this mirror ?
Thank you,
Jerry

Late ‘67 mirrors did not have the bowtie logo.

DMI is the original manufacturers code for 67 mirror, which is Donnelly Mirror Company............although the glass has been reproduced with this logo for many years now. The mirror code is MM DMI Y where MM is the month and Y is the year. So a 2-DMI-3 would be the second month of a year ending in 3............likely 1973.

For 1967, the Bowtie disappears on the mirror housing around VIN 8000 to 10,000.
