Is something hidden here that I can’t see in this picture as it appears that all of this mess starts at the driver’s side exhaust? Where is the passenger side exhaust?
I think that car had a catalytic converter on the passenger side (see the heat shield) and they ran all the exhaust through it, then to the side pipes. Does Rube Goldburg own a C2?
Looks like NOTHING is connected to the passenger side exhaust manifold (if there even is one).....
Yeah it’s there, it T’s in before it goes through the hole/port in the frame, a 70s catalytic converter arrangement (both banks into one pipe before it goes into the catalytic converter)
That is a 75 and up C3 for sure.
This is my wife's 82 and it has a Y pipe, then the catalytic converter and then after the hanger goes to dual exhaust.
I have to say that is some creative pipe job. He should have taken the pipes right off the Y pipe at the engine.
Don't know but I'm thinking it's a V12! You can barely see that 3 pipes come together in the first header collectors. What I don't get is why branch off at the collector to join back into the same mufflerish thingy.
