Considering using Classic Instruments ( G Shock ) as replacement in my (1967 Convertible NOM) dash or having stock gauges rebuilt or replaced. ( Origanility not the first consideration.)
Anybody have experience with Classic Instruments?

No experience with them. They look really nice. But, didn't like their name posted on the bottom of each gauge. So, I just bought new reproductions instead and converted them all to electronic gauges.
I used them for my build. I custom designed my borrowing aspect of their Velocity & Auto Cross series. They will also remove their name from the gauges for an additional fee (Don't quote me, but I think it was an extra $100 to do that)
On your Velocity & Auto Cross series. Is the speedometer mechanical or electronic? Are all your gauges electronic?
I think the speedometer is mechanical and the rest are electronic...I'd have to check on the speedometer

Yes, I don't have a trip odometer. I had this done about 5yrs ago and I think it was around $2k for all the custom work. I had to put down 50%. I told them what I was looking for and then they had their design team send me computer renderings. I think I had them do at least 5-6 different changes before I settled on the ones pictured. I also had them do a custom clock to match which was an additional $400-$500 from what I recall.
I saw factoids and followed they are great gauges and there tech department is good too and a little tip when you hook up your fuel gauge have your door shut I had mine open while installing and my fuel gauge would not work with door open I looked on my wiring diagram and the interior dome light is on the same circuit as the sending unit and wouldn't work .
