My right headlight bucket needs adjusting and I am not sure on the proper procedure. Two different adjustments needed.
1). the outside-rear corner is a little low (1/8 inch). I was reading that I’ll need to pull the bulbs out, loosen the outer mounting bolts, then just snug them , rotate the housing into position and then I can push and pull. Once hood fit is achieved then I carefully rotate the housing and tighten the bolts .
do I have this correct?
2). I noticed the gap was really close to the outer edge, 1/16”. But the inner gap was like 3/16”. Then I grasped the bucket and wiggled as I slide it back over to the inside, where is stopped with equal 1/8” gaps. So I guess something is loose on the outer pivot.
I had the motors out to clean and lube, and the buckets rotate very easily, So I figured I don’t need to replace pivot *****, etc…. Or do I?
