Doug has the Kwik Lift ramps down on the floor. There's also a couple of assemblies that lock into the front of the ramps. You can also jack the back of the ramps up and 2 assemblies swing down to put the bottom of the car up about 30" They're good for a low ceiling garage.

Geez, I need to clean out my garage.
That's a pretty attractive setup. I'm still using 40 year old steel ramps but the angle is pretty high... have you ever experienced tire slipping when driving up the ramp? Is the yellow the standard non-powder coating?
My garage is in a similar state. Cleaning it up only lasts until the next project when it all goes to hell in 2 seconds.

Gary,
As you mentioned: These ramps work surprisingly well for headroom Challenged Garages......I stopped lifting the ramps and pushing the blocks for each ramp under to pin about 5 years ago...If I need to get under the center of the chassis, I just scissor (fits between the ramps) lift the car and block it, drop the lift, throw a blanket over it and go to work......Occasionally, the cigar doesn't fit when under there....
Back to my thread title: The current rain is washing the salt off the streets here in Pittsburgh and we might have seen the last of any appreciable snow......Looking very GOOD!

I'm thinking Mother Nature is done with the "white stuff" for the year . . . I even rolled the snow blower from the garage to the shed yesterday for summer storage. I think we're good to go Doug! Looking forward to seeing you - and - your awesome garage in July!

I sure didn't mean to hijack this spring weather thread into a Kwik Lift thread.
In the PNW, we did have a few hours of sun and dryer roads for a couple days - and I got the 65 out for a spin. The vinyl top is older so I left it up as it's pretty tight to put back up when it's cold outside. The new steering bearings and shaft feel good. Maybe a bit more of a precise steering feeling, and the Silver Sport floor supports seem to have eliminated the rubbing noise when hitting bumps with a passenger.
Our oldest granddaughter likes this car's smell, sound and power - a lot. If I give it a bit of gas she laughs out loud and holds both hands up like she's on a roller coaster.

This time of year it's: "Quick, the sun's out... damn I missed it."

What a wonderful reaction - same as me, but then I remember I have to keep steering.

I've really enjoyed having that lift, and yellow is one of their powder coated colors.

Yes, the sun came out on Friday for a spell, the roads looked pretty good and by the time I pulled off the battery charger and got the car outside it started sprinkling. Put it back up on the Kwik Lift (I leave mine up for parking) wiped the car down and by then the sun came back out. Pulled it back out and got in a little 15 mile spin. Half an hour after I parked it the rain came. Looking forward to better weather soon. It's supposed to hit 60 here tomorrow with just a chance of rain. Hope to get out for a spin with the top down
