The problem I am having is the rims. "Requires the use of a 15" wheel designed for disc brakes. Use the template to verify wheel fitment. Rotors have a 5 x 4-3/4" Bolt Pattern. Track width changes by 0.500" per side."
But it does not seem that I can buy them anywhere or even get them custom.
Has anyone else done this? What are my options? Thanks in advance guys.
I have the disc brake conversion on my 62 (used one from Zip, but probably the same - uses Camaro discs, I forget the year). I have 15x7 Rally wheels (off a 68 or something like that) and no problem whatsoever.
You should be able to use the Chevy Rally wheels, but you need to find the ones with the correct offset as there were a few offered. The rally wheels will then take the derby caps/beauty rings, or you can fit the typical wheel covers.
