Refurbish

I would like to refurbish my 66 4 sp console. What is the best way to do the black area of the console and is that vinyl or what?

I washed the black with lacquer thinner, leaving a thin film/color to promote adhesion, then sprayed SEM Trim Paint.

I scrubbed the whole thing with lacquer thinner then used fine steel wool to clean and polish it. The. Whipped it all down again with lacquer thinner. Then tapped everything off then a few light coats of self etching primer. Then Kylon 1613

Here's mine all prepped for paint...like a dummy i didn't get one of it painted...
