How often are you over to the mainland? Any car events to come over over to Bainbridge to see this year?
Are you out at Pacific Raceways anytime soon?

Shows and events in the near future that I am looking at right now are:
- Exotics at Redmond Town Center any Saturday morning it is not raining...... They have their 'Classic and Collector Car Day' scheduled for 6/18.....
https://exoticsat.com/special-events
- Fenders on Front Street in Issaquah on 6/19
- XXX Root Beer All Corvette Show on 7/31
Aside from that, we have a car show the last Tuesday or Thursday of every month starting this month through August… When I find out Tuesday or Thursday I will respond to this thread.
yes, I will be racing at Pacific Riceway this summer in number 111 the 1960 Corvette. I think I will also be racing at the Ridge in Shelton June 10-12. That will be my first racing of the season, as I had broken my arm about eight weeks ago… And have a slow start to the season.
if anybody is interested in coming to watch me race, let me know! was love to meet some other forum members at the track, and convince you to go race with me!
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

I just have my coupe (winter car) and my convertible (summer car) as I can only drive one at a time and no longer have the room or time to maintain mor than that with my 72 El Camino and RZR900 I have my hands full.

Let us know when you will be out at The Ridge..... I have not been there, but would like to go sometime......

yep, God Willing, I’m there.

She is a 1960 Corvette that was sourced specifically to go club racing. She was originally delivered to Dave MacDonald and Bill Thomas. Dave put it in his mothers backyard and turned it into a club racer for their friend Doug Niccoli. It’s been a race car it’s entire life.
I am giving it a second career at Vintage Racing. 84 year old Larry Webb & I have been developing it for three years now.
She runs on big drum brakes, with sintered metallic shoes! She runs Rochester fuel injection on the correct 283. She is up to snuff to be accepted at Monterey. The goal is to get me on the same level. I’ve only run her at Pacific raceways so far, but my first scheduled race outside of Pacific raceways will be at the ridge in Shelton June 10-12 God willing! She’s a lot of fun, and the first race car I’ve ever built and campaigned. I can feel every square inch of the track through my butt & feet in this amazingly well prepared car! Going in to turn one at around 130+ miles an hour in a solid axle with drum brakes is fun, but going into turn eight, which is kind of a carousel, is one of the best rides on earth!
