A few years ago on the way to Monterey car week, I shot a reflection of my car on the back of one of those shiny tanker trucks. If you look closer you’ll see a second reflection of my ’67 on the truck’s chrome bumper, showing how close we really were. My wife and the tanker driver had been waving back and forth, then she had the bright idea to hold up a real 35mm camera and point backward, the trucker nodded affirmative, so back we drifted to get the shot. Everything about car week is fun!

I took that same picture about ten years ago in my wife's STS Cadillac.

I took that same picture about ten years ago of my wife's Cadillac STS. You have to get uncomfortably close to do it!

For sure. That's why we communicated with the driver ahead of time to make sure it was OK to tailgate him for a few seconds. My wife had the camera all ready to go.
