'67 Interior Door Latch
I took the whole door apart to replace the latch with a new one. After installing, I checked it to see that it functioned correctly. It did.
Then reinstalled door panel and it does Not work!
Don't know what I did or didn't do... to end up at that frustration point where you are ready to take it out for spin - knowing "she's all better now"... but NO.

Assuming you mean the spherical **** won't unlatch the door from the inside, I've been through this also. Some folks bend the rod to shorten it, others drill a new hole in the plate of the "remote control assembly" as it's referred to in the assembly manual, sheet K7.
