I just don't really like driving the new ones that much, this is a collect/hold situation for me. Keeping it perfect is more satisfying in this case, for me. Not sure why, that is just how I am wired. I can't drive a perfect car, but once someone else has put some chips and wear on it I am not bothered by driving it. Probably a formal diagnosis is needed.
I drive the old ones a lot. probably as much or more than anyone here does. Next to my daily driver Tahoe, the next most miles I drove this year are in my Porsche 356. Following that, my 1980 K10. And once the 63 fuel car is sorted out, I think I will drive that at least a few days a week.

A friend bought the first year C6 ZR1. Had it transported from the dealer directly to his garage where it sat with 11 miles on it for many years (plastic still on the seats and steering wheel). He was expecting the value to go up over the years but it didn't. He sold it last year and lost money. Told me - " I should have driven it"...............
As far as the formal diagnosis, I do believe many of us, including myself, could benefit from one.
I have a 2007 Lemans Blue C6 Z06 with 7k miles on it so I'm sort of in the same boat............
It's your car, do whatever gives your the greatest enjoyment.
