Default door panel adjustment

I noticed that my door panels don't fit very tight near the vent window post. I was able to fix the drivers side with a screw that brought in the internal plastic closer so the panel fit better. However, I was unable to do the same on the passengers side since that area that can be screwed in is missing. Most likely broke off sometime during its prior life. Any suggestions on how to get it too fit closer to the pillar? I attached a picture of both doors. The first is the Drivers side which I'm happy with. The second is the passengers side that I would like closer.

Thanks
Ed

Ed,
The problem with many of the aftermarket door panels is that they don't have the correct bend in the chrome molding along the top of the panel. That's what appears to be your problem. See pic below.

Is there anyone out there that knows of a way to put the proper bend in the Chrome moulding on a 67 door door panel? Both my door panels are aftermarket and don't have the bends like the originals do.

Thanks
Ed
