Default Rear Valance

Are rear valances interchangeable for a 1965 Corvette to be put on a 1967 Corvette. The 65 is a Coupe and the 67 is a Convertible.
I found a 65 rear valance and want to put it on my 67.
Thanks for the help.

It’s all about the exhaust bezels. Just get the correct bezels for the year of the panel.

the back of the 65 fiberglass might be lighter in color than a 67 would be.

the panels will fit, but the fiberglass color is different, and the bezels are different, and mount differently.. 65 bezels won't fit on 67 panel, and vice versa.

Gene, I know you plan on having your car judged so you do need to pay attention to the color of the fiberglass. The '67 fiberglass is a dark gray whereas if you go back from 66 to 63 the fiberglass gets lighter and lighter in color. Small point, but you do much better with fit and bezels if you can find a goo '67 rear valance. 65hihp is correct on all counts.

Garry, thanks for the feedback. I have been unable to find a decent 67 with bezels. I will continue my search.
thanks again,
