C2 Codes
I am trying to decipher various codes on my car and having some issues. Can anyone advise of a master code decoder or provide insight on the following:
Engine Casting 3782870 : 1962-1965
Engine Cast Date: G72: July 7, 1962
Engine Stamp Pad: 31000166 F0712D: Corvette, VIN, Flint, July 12, D?? (I think it should be RD for 300 HP, possible restamp with error?)
Transmission: 3100024 ?
Tailshaft: T10-7D 3813490 ?
Differential: CA 9 07 62 (3:36 Non Posi) ?
I have 327, 300HP with 4 speed Pre-Muncie trans to my knowledge

All V8 C-1's
had Borg Warner T-10 Transmissions. Early 63"s also.
Someone will decode the #'s for you.
I did not mean to say All V8's had T-10's.
More correctly All 4 speeds in the C-1 era were BW T-10's.
C-1 's had PG trans also.
