Height difference between SB and BB blocks
Wondering what the height difference is between a small block say a 64 327/365 and a big block a Anniversary ZL-1 ? Years ago I had a small block in my 66 coupe that had a set of 48IDA Webers on it. I had a L-88 type hood modified to clear the Weber stacks. Car now has a Anniversary ZL-1 in it currently with the factory intake and Holley and have been thinking about a set of Webers for the car. Wondering if the installed small block versus big block has any height differences for intake mounting. Would like to use my old hood if I decide to do this. Thanks, Ken
