On my 64 coupe , the right dash indicator warning light has some bizar behaviour. When I pull the light switch in Park Light position, the right dash light goes solid on. When I put the switch in Headlight mode, the dash light goes out again. There are different combinations and phenomena, I documented them in the picture. Anyone has a clue where to look?
A lot of electrical problems in Corvettes are related to bad grounds of the components. So it usually involves checking to make sure the light sockets are properly grounded. You can make a jumper wire to temporarily ground the right turn signal socket and see if the problem goes away.

That looks like a ground problem in the right front lamp. Socket, wire or both. In parking light position, key off, some power from the parking light circuit is grounding through the directional signal part of the bulb. When the signal is switched on, power py goes through the turn signal filament. Sometimes a weak ground will work with a high load circuit,but not a light load. Found that out after pulling out may remaining hair trying to get LED bulbs to work out back. Filament bulbs worked perfectly. LEDs, nada. Cleaned up the grounds and all was well.
