Default application information

Wanting to use a 7530WND Weiand intake on my 65 Corvette with a small block hood. Edelbrock states that their 5001 single plane manifold will fit. Carb pad height is 4.080 inches on the Edelbrock. Carb pad height on the Weiand is 4.095 Inches. Carb pad height difference is .015 inches. Summit and Jegs state that the Weiand will not work but the Edelbrock will. Just trying to figure why 15 thousands carb pad height can be that critical or there other issues.?

You could have the 15 tho. machined off the Weiand and you are good.
