[C2] Antenna Motor - NCRS
Happy New Year, guys.
And install it yourself. Your NCRS EXT judges with give it a smiley face..
first, NCRS doesn't approve, or certify anything. Greg's restored antennas do well in Flight Judging because they are GM OEM antennas.

As noted earlier, NCRS does not "approve/certify" anything.
Unless you have a fat wallet, when restoring for a potential NCRS judging you need to consider cost vs potential deductions.
There are 4500 total points in NCRS Flight Judging. If you showed up with NO antenna at all, point loss would total 20 points. (10 Originality and 10 Condition)
(20 points out of 4500 points)
A non-production replacement, while losing some points for Originality, might well cost much less. And being a new item, would not loose any Condition points.

(And yes, before someone points it out, a hole where antenna would go would also generate an Exterior deduction. (I figure it was glassed over!)
Buying the real restored OEM antenna gives one a fabulous piece of (expensive) USA made equipment that will last a lifetime.
