If you look up my post on "saving 1963 roadster (sort of) thread, You will see we are doing the oposite, we are replacing a 1979 C3 frame with an original C2 frame on my fathers 1963 roadster.
Beside both ends of the C3 frame are different, the height of the body mounts are different too.
Being the C3 frame is shorter before the front crossmember, you will have to add material to locate your core support in the correct alignment with the frame.
