when you get a coupe but want a convertible.....no big deal , cut of the roof and glue it on the back. Needs of course a respray but that's good as you wanted Marina Blue
Don't mind the build quality , i didn't wanted to spend more then a evening on it .....and the smallest pieces ? i didn't even try them , scale 1:24 is to small for my thick fingers.......which are now glue&blue.
LOL! You had me there Barry. All I could think is "what is this guy doing? Is he nuts?" Glad for how it turned out. Now you've got a removable hard top that will turn it back in to a coupe! 😁

try the 1:12 scale….
I started modding this in the 1980’s, never finished…. Time for a refresh now that I have a full-scale to model…
double the value ? yes, now if you make a SW out of it ?
agree , but still don't understand , certainly not for "good" weather regions ... a fun car is mostly enjoyed ( by me ) open .. convertible. If i need a tin top ( rain /cold) i take my modern dd , and sure not in summer with needed AC on....
After having more then a dozen classic cars , i realize we most liked our convert .. Morgan. Sold it to have some more push , and bought the '67 roadster C2.
