wondering if anyone has installed a hydro boost? what is the best one to purchase and how hard is it to install? can i still use my dual master brake cylinder or
should i get a whole new system ? thanks fort any help and suggestions.
Yes, I setup a hydro-boost brake system in my 1964 roadster. I did not go with a canned system since I wanted steel braided lines and I did an LS conversion which has the Holley Mid-mount front engine accesso system and a Borgeson power steering box (no canned system for all that). There was a person on Ebay that built a mount flange and added them to new actuators (I'll put a similar link below). The gentleman worked with me since I did have a clearance issue as you will see in the pictures below. I used Russell ProFlex to makeup lines going between the components. I'm not sure about your existing master cylinder mounting to the hydro-boost.
C2 '64 firewall Clearance issues with firewall. Remote reservoir by PSC You may notice I have mine clocked an additional 90 degrees due to another clearance issue with the valve covers and the accumulator on the hydro-boost system.
