Hello all. I’m new to the forum and trying to find information as to the type of black on the knockoff wheels on my ‘66 ‘vette. I need to know if the black on the original knockoffs was gloss, satin or flat. Thanks
J - Welcome to the Corvette Forum. I've got three midyears with repro KO's and the only time I've seen an actual Black paint between the fins was on the new repros.
The color they are supposed to be
is more along the lines of a Dark Charcoal Gray. I've used VHT Cast Iron Spray Cans with good success and it looks good...IMHO.
