Default L bracket

67 327 no air.
The valance L bracket at the bottom rad support gets reversed for 1967.
Any ideas how to mark for the screw hole ? Thanks...

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, that would work if the bracket was facing forward.
By turning the L bracket nut rearward, it lies right under the radiator support..Hope the radiator doesn't have to be pulled.

We used a bright LED light on the inside after we bolted the bracket to the radiator support . Looking from under the valance we could see the shadow of the hole and
marked the center. This was with a hand laid one piece nose with white gelcoat.

Thanks GARRETTM
Was the radiator installed when you drilled the hole?

No, we were building a new assembly with the rad support only.We used the light on the grill side of the support and it worked out well.
I will check one of our 67 noses tomorrow as we made the brackets the same as originals.

I checked today and we have our brackets pointing forward. I checked the AIM for 66 and 67 around page 222 on the 67 and it looks to me like the bracket
is pointing forward. Unless there is a different version for the BB rad support somewhere else in the manual. Let me know if you find something different.
