Good luck
too many factors and no details…
original engine or replacement?
Running well, poorly, or hasn’t been started? Has it been driven recently? Restored recently?
250hp, 300, 350?
carb’d or Fuelie?
no-hit body? Original (savable) paint? Stock or modified with flares and/or headlight buckets removed? Etc.
all stock or modified?
Clear Title? In sellers name ( or all legal paperwork ( death certificate) for the transfer?
options like side exhaust, teak wheel? Are wheels originals or repros? Original to the car?
And importantly, how are the birdcage and frame? Any rust?
Regarding the 3-eared spinners, the standard wheel covers had them as did the optional (and available repro) Knockoffs.
Good luck.

there was no fuel injection, just carburetors.
The small block choices were 300 or 350 HP
You could also get a big block in either 390 or 425 HP.

. It looks like a base car, 327/300 disc brakes on all four, teak wheel?, roll-up windows. His father got it out of Ohio and it was originally Maroon, painted by one of the last owners Riverside gold? His fathers plan was to just put a little time and money to make it presentable and drive it. He told me there has been a bunch of people look at it and they said the engine seems to be original and body looks good too? They were asking 50K and offered 45K so it looks like it will be gone soon...Waiting on his moms ok as they have 51K in it......Tell me what you think...

I was in the market last year and bought a '66 Coupe. Twice. Don't ask.
One car I I looked at was a (former) 'Top Flight' car. Really nice, and in a '66 only color. L79, M21, 350 hp 327 car. Owner wanted a nice sum, just north of 80K. Wanted to buy it, but several things had been changed since it was 'Top Flight' and I estimated 7-8K to change it back. I also noticed a door gap that was wonky. I felt I could correct that, but that plus the dollars on top to get it back to what it was turned me off. Owner sold it for asking price two days later, to somebody else. Both parties were happy. Gorgeous car.
I tell that anecdote to highlight that coupes are fetching a higher price at the moment, in my experience. I ended up with a nice '66 coupe that needs some minor wrinkles ironed out, for 65K. But I knew that I'd likely have to do a few things despite it being a frame-off seven years ago. And...I was right. But the car is the right one for me, I am very sure. So the little headaches are only that.
I have seen coupes go for as little as 55K since last spring. Can't speak to condition, and I bet the prices are just going up, but I wouldn't have bought for 55K unless there was some really dynamite evidence the car was solid as a rock.
Do I see a power steering cylinder in one of the under car shots?
