thank you that is what I have been told! I was also told that you could see an imprint or the embossing of these circles but they were not drilled or opened up?
I’m wondering if a very early 67 August car could have a 66 hood with the holes drilled open?
the frame of the hood sure does have the holes. But the hood itself does not have the holes.
Hi Keith,
This is my question. I'm getting different information...Some are saying there are no holes in the underside of the frame (and no emblem holes) on the '67 hood.
Now, this brings up another question....if the 67 had the access holes (which mine does), someone in the past "could" have simply installed the emblem on my car.....? Oh boy....lol

Keith is exactly correct. You do not need a hood. Just remove the emblem and fill in the topside holes only and repaint and you are done and it will be correct for all 67 small blocks.
