Thanks fellas that's a lot of input! I might remove them and see if I like the look going forward or if it bugs me. I'm part Scottish so the 'no money spent' angle appeals to me

Here are mine with reproduction 63 Vette spinners donated by fellow forum member Chuck Gongloff, then screwed to alum. flat plate covers from a Fleabay source (must have the correct center holes for clearance to the front wheel grease caps):
Note that only 4 of the 5 screws that attach the alum. plate are holding the plate to the rim (the 5th screw is a "dummy", due to it being behind the one spinner leg, and is not accessible.

Unfortunately, $100.00 is now what the $20.00 dollar bill was just a few years back....
Spend the money and get the perfect look!

You got that right! Hey Pat, I was going to let you know there is a car show in Oroville this Saturday. They decided to bring back the Gold Rush car show. I just thought I would let know if wanted to go... Just remember its Oroville so leave the dentures at home. (Oroville joke)
Just looked at my 7 inch crows installed on my '66.....front had over 1/2" clearance for the bearing cap, rears no issue either. Not certain if 6 inch crows have the same hub center????

Sounds like a good show! It's supposed to be raining here. Hopefully, you guys enjoy a good day there!
I have 3 of these and I'll be looking for one more. I also like the flat plates but the front hub spacing as mentioned by several is an issue I'll be looking to solve. Original AMR 8.5 x 15. Flares on all corners.
