Default 1954 Flasher Lead Question

I have a set of replacement leads coming in and my question is, are the original ones just soldered to the contacts? Its hard to tell on mine as the way they look and I don't want to randomly put heat to it and mess it up. If you sense a theme here, I'm replacing all wiring in the car. It got Bubba'ed up after I left for college and my career and my dads friend, who owns a car repair shop, had messed this up. I got the whole harness out several days ago and got a good look, pink wire was melted through, close call on a Car-BQ and he never told my dad.

There are 2 leads that are soldered to the light in the dash
One lead goes to the an inline fuse to the fuse block
One lead goes to the flasher

Chris, thank you. I was just trying to make sure they were joined to the light contacts via solder as it's hard to tell looking at them (and it seems those style of spring loaded contacts at other lights in the car vary in their connection to the lead).
