Sorry I don’t have a perfect picture of this, but the one below shows the area in question somewhat. On the engine side of the fender, there is ~3/4” piece of fiberglass. This piece, this lip starts out relatively horizontal near the windshield, but as you follow it toward the headlights, it comes up a bit until it is ~20 degrees from horizontal.
Can any on comment on whether or not that is supposed to be like that? The car has no history but shows signs of front end damage and so I want to make sure that any corrections I have made when I have the body done are correct.
20 degrees off horizontal sounds too much but mine also has a slope up to the inner edge near the front for a short distance - and then flattens out with a curb edge further back and across the firewall. Looks pretty much like yours for what I can tell from the picture.
