stuck clutch to pressure plate
I am about to pick up my 67 BB from the paint shop (tomorrow) and was notified to day that somehow the clutch was stuck and not releasing. We got it in neutral, rolled it out of the shop and then started it up in first gear and we heard the clutch release pop after its started to move a few feet. Not clear why it would do that. We have had a lot of rain here(NH) and high moisture but the car was inside the shop. The last time it was started up was about 2 weeks ago. though it's been there since april 1st. Now I'm nervous it might do it again since I don't drive it very often Going to pick it up tomorrow and put about 20 miles on it to get it to my house. has anyone else experience this? I normally have it stored on my lift for about thee months in the winter months and never had this issue at all.
The mechanic said it usually moisture that gets in there but the car is never outside.
Any input would be appreciated.

Have seen it happen, when a car sits outside for extended periods. However, it takes time and moisture for it to happen, and I have to assume his shop had a high level.
If it has never happened before in your garage, no reason to think it will again.

It happens a lot after extended non-use, nothing to worry about.

Burning Brakes
Ditto... I have too many cars nd too little time. Has happened to some of my cars a number of times. Will happen on your brake shoes as well. I've had to drag my cars across the floor (or up and down my driveway) with my tractor or SUV more than once to get the brakes un-seized from the drums

If it hasn’t happened in your own garage before then it must be dry enough in it so as to not cause this type of problem.
