i am looking to freshen up my car. i have seen slush mount rear glass- any thoughts on this from the group? also looking at option of power coating all of the trim and wondering who may have done this and can advise on pros / cons. i have one piece around window that needs to be worked and afraid it will be noticable. who can fix and polish as option to flush mounting the rear glass
I have yet to see to a 60's car with flush mount glass or painted stainless that looked good, the 63 one year only trim is very costly so it's not something you want to ruin with a fad.

This is a full blown high end restomod build. An acquired taste for sure.

It's pretty easy to touch up your own stainless with a polishing wheel and jeweler's rough. Most of it can be done on the car if you tape the paint and glass to protect it.
You don't say in your AVATAR where you are located, but if on the east coast you could send all of your trim to either of the two hardtop restorers (both located in PA not too far from Pittsburgh) for repair and polishing.
They repair and restore stainless trim as part of restoring C1/C2 hardtops. It will be expensive but they do a great job. C.J.

until you mess up and overheat the trim and give it a blue hue
