Default Powerpak Heads?

I was given a small block with Powerpak heads on it.

I have no need for the heads and am wondering if they have any value to a restorer needing the correct heads for a 283 or 327.
Would the casting numbers be enough to identify these heads? Or is more info or measurements needed?

I don't know if these are common anymore, in the '80's I hade two 283's w. Powerpak's in pickups, I'd hate to scrape something that someone may need.
Are these rare enough to be worth the cost of shipping?

Post the casting numbers, casting dates, and perhaps a couple of pictures. They are worth something to somebody.

You are in the Carson City area?

Rather than scrap them, I'd drop them off at my local machine shop. Perhaps they would have a better chance of finding someone who could use them.

I'm just on the other side of the Sierra from you. Depending on what those heads turn out to be, I might be interested.

“Powerpak” boy that bring back fond memories …. That was the ~ 9.5:1 hi compression triangle heads, four barrel, dual exhaust for the 283. Yeah, anybody that wants to build/experience a correct 283, would just love! to have those!! It’s all about finding the right buyer.

The heads have casting #3795896 and casting date E1763.
May 17th 1963? Does that format indicate which engine plant?
There's also a C1 and GM X1 cast in them.

These pictures are as the head came off the engine, I don't have time right now to clean them or break them down for inspection.
The other head is similar.

Let me know if there are other pictures I should take.
