Tripower update

...so, here's what i found out -> the center carb throttle shaft needs to be bushed and i'll do the other two carbs anyway....the leaks SEEM to come from the split between the throttle base plate and carb body - we don't routinely mill those surfaces but they were checked with a square and were fine, so that one's got me scratching my head...the carbs were rebuilt with Holley kits so I'm sure the parts are OK...THIS will take some time
As you know I seldom farm stuff out but my carbs looked like they had been in the junk yard since 1968. I have done a lot of Holley carbs when I knew what the problems were that I was trying to fix. I had no experience with the carbs for my 3x2 and I decided that a more talented doctor was needed. Jerry Luck in St Louis did mine and I mean to tell they look and operate BETTER than a brand new 750 I bought for my SB in the Vette. Consider having him do the bushing work.
